Our goal is to propose a device allowing to visualize on a client interface like a smartphone, the variations of temperature and luminosity of a room, located at several kilometers away. To do that, we need a specific way of communication which is LoRaWAN.

There is a lot of technology about wireless communication and the majority of them are medium range or short range such as bluetooth, WIFI, NFC, ZigBEE wich allows a range from few centimeters to several meters. These technologies are more or less different in terms of the supported throughput, the rangeĀ of the device and its power consumption.

LoRaWAN is a type of radiotelecommunication network designed to allow long range communications at a low bit rate among things (connected objects), such as sensors.

We could visualize on our smartphone in real time the datas received by sensors and also monitor differents actuators.
