2nd Performance of the BLIND SPOT production

As the project Blind Spot went into its second year of research, a series of exciting new activities have occurred or will soon be organised in several places like Oslo, Paris, Berlin, Quebec etc.

Blind Spot will open a new exhibition in the new “Medical” section of Teknisk Museum in Oslo in April 2019. Working our way towards this, we have organised a series of workshops led by Prof. Karen Kipphoff and Ellen Lange and Henrik Treimo (from NTM) during the first half of 2018.

Blind Spot will also go into a phase II of productions in 2018 and will leave the stage to young artists/choreographers/students to express what Blind Spot means to them.

Blind Spot will also go actively into a period of working towards the publication expected to be presented in June 2020.

First day visit of the storage facilities of the technical museum in Gjerdrum in order to find objects that could fit in the exhibition.

Workshop led by choreographer Etienne Guilloteau with Young-Won Song (South Korea), Nefeli Asteriou (Greece) and Emmi Väisänen (Finland) with the participation of HZT students.

30 September to 5 October 2018 – Fredrikstad

Workshop led by Choreographer Bino Savitzy with the BA acting students (3rd years).

 6th October 2018 – Paris

Presentation of the BA students work with Bino Savitzy at NUIT BLANCHE in Paris – in collaboration with University Paris Nanterres, and Académie Fratellini.

15-26 October 2018 – NTM Oslo

Student workshop (Master and BA)

The students will work on the design of objects and installations that could be placed in different spaces of the Technical museum.

11 to 26 November 2018 – Fredrikstad

The ELDERS:  Residency with Muriel Miguel/Spiderwoman Theatre, Makka Kleist and Tony Hall.

Seminar “Radical Elders” – a gathering of artists

We will gather some artists with particular impact and legacy which we are calling “Elders” – for a two day event which will include performances, talks, meals and music – with a special focus on giving space to radical elders to share together their practices.

Opening of the Blind Spot temporary Exhibition

Participation of one of the BS production to the Meteor Festival in Bergen (to be confirmed)
